Standard Reed Cabanas
Our Reed Cabanas are nestled discretely in the bushy, topical surrounding. We have 2 and 4 sleeper reed cabanas, the 2 sleepers can be double or twin share & the 4 sleepers are 4 single beds. There is electric light, power points, mozzie nets and fans in each standard reed cabana. They have spacious, spotless communal bathrooms, showers and toilets with fun interesting finishes. There is a large well equipped communal kitchen which has gas cookers, fridges and all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. There is a large, social dining area, boma/braai area and splash pool. The reed cabanas are ideal for families, friends and social groups.
To make your stay with us more comfortable we suggest you bring:
-Personal toiletries & towels.
-Mozzie repellent spray or cream (no candles or coils allowed).
-Medium size cooler box for drinks
-Fire lighters – wood and charcoal can be purchased in the market.
-Food if you are self-catering – there is a local market, bottle store, butcher and bakery in town so most things are available locally but we tend to recommend you bring your own food and limited drinks. There are several restaurants in town if you wish to eat out.
Please note a few things about our camp & facilities:
-The communal kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary kitchen items including a gas cookers and fridges. The fridges are shared but if the resort is not full we will try to allocate you your own fridge. Please note that the fridges are primarily for food storage so we ask that you bring a medium size cooler box for your drinks.
-There is a boma area with braai facilities, a fire pit and a sparkling splash pool.
-The kitchen & cabanas are serviced by the staff to keep the dishes washed and the area tidy.
-We try to keep the camp eco-friendly with low noise levels. No quad bikes are allowed to drive around the property they will need to be parked at the gate. No music is allowed and a reasonable noise level must be maintained at all times and no noise after 10:00pm or before 7:00am.
-The water is crystal clean and can be drunk from the taps.
-The camp is on septic tanks please be careful when using the toilet facilities.
-The water supply is via and electric pump. In the unusual event of a power failure there is no water supply however we do have a generator for limited water supply which we will put on as required.
